Alberto Cabrera's Frita Shop to Open in Coral Gables

Last thing he did was open up Bread + Butter in Coral Gables just a little over two months ago, now Alberto Cabrera has found a spot to open his "Cuban burger joint", Frita Shop: "the corner of Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Salamanca Avenue".

Plans are for the shop to be a "simple", fast-food place serving up variations of fritas and hotdogs, maybe even some "Cuban-inspired shakes" too. Short Order reports that Cabrera is also looking into Kendall, but "isn't in any hurry". Cabrera confirms that "the goal is to have multiple locations". This spot (in Coral Gables) is slated to open "sometime this summer".
