Poseidon, SoBe's new Greek joint, opened up rather quietly about a week ago, but they're about to change that with their grand opening party on April 17. The spot's been brought to life up by two Greek brothers named Demetrios and Vasilis Pyliotis, both individuals passionate about bringing SoBe Greek cuisine with a modern twist. Vasilis is also the owner of Zesto Pizza and has, since 1995, managed several Miami and Chicago restaurants. Demetrios, also the head chef at Poseidon, has been cooking it up for a little over a decade at restaurants in Greece until moving here and starting the restaurant with his brother.

According to their official website, their menu "is based on extra virgin Kalamata olive oil", greek yogurt, honey and natural herbs and ingredients imported from Greece. Some menu items include classics like Moussaka, dinners such as grilled boar chops and desserts like baklava. Poseidon is open Monday through Sunday 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
