Cipriani Downtown is officially opening its first Miami location on May 10. Owners Maggio and Ignazio Cipriani plan for their Miami locale to incorporate similar elements from their many successful outposts, including New York, Los Angeles and Abu Dhabi. This means a bar as the central point of the restaurant (as exists in their Venice location), Venetian flooring, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the waterfront. The space (over 8,000 square feet) of the soon-to-open eatery with "blue and white nautical" décor, is comprised of two levels and an outdoor dining area able to house over 400 people. As of now, they'll be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
