Jodi Mailander Farrell gives two-and-a-half stars to the "gourmet Cuban" Bread + Butter. She writes, "Cabrera [owner] is dreaming in Cuban, and these dreams are psychedelic". Of the "globalized" dishes at the Coral Gables eatery, Farrell wasn't crazy about the "raw in the middle" Swordfish, but she enjoyed the smoked oxtail, the "chorizo-and-beef slider" and the "Chinese steamed bau bun" among others.
