Brickell, you'll soon (very soon) be getting a new tapas-style restaurant named Brasileiro. The Brazilian steakhouse is scheduled to open at the Four Ambassador Suites Hotel in the former Porcao space on July 12. According to a press release, Brasileiro has recruited Guily Booth (previously of The Local House and Yuca), a chef with over 15 years of experience, to helm the kitchen. She plans to offer a variety of a la carte menu items including appetizers such as crab cakes ($14) and crispy calamari steak ($9) and entrees like blackened cobia ($34) and black seafood risotto ($36). If you happen to want to go the all-you-can-eat route, you can opt for the $39 Rodízio (which in traditional Brazilian fashion presents you with different cuts of meat to choose from, like picanha and churrasco, till you're totally stuffed).
Space wise, the restaurant boasts a spacious dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay, with seating for up to 300 guests, a 60-seat private dining area and a 70-seat outdoor patio. For now, they'll be open for lunch and dinner daily (Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.).
