1) Palm Beach: Historic Casa Elada, designed by society architect Maurice Fatio and known to the well-aged denizens of Palm beach society as the 'Ham and Cheese' house, has sold for $15.975 million.
2) Everywhere: Miami loves Bjarke Ingels, and we so hope that the feeling is mutual. Mr. Ingels saw that love this week on a whirlwind tour through the city, attending evening events for each of his three projects in South Florida, culminating in the groundbreaking ceremony for Grove at Grand Bay, which will be the first Ingels building to be completed in the Americas.
3) Everywhere: The brilliant Royal Poinciana, a species of tree native to Madagascar known as the Flame Tree, is in full colorful bloom throughout South Florida, its only habitat in the United States. The magnificent tree's flowering season, a real feast for the eyes, is also magnificently short. It will end within a month, or sooner.
