For all of those who miss Acme's homey baking days, rejoice because they are making a comeback on July 27. Not quite back in a permanent establishment, but husband and wife team, Alejandro and Alysia Ortiz, are back on their feet and will be popping-up at Southwest Community Farmer's Market in Tropical Park every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to deliver their goods.
And they'll be debuting a new concoction: Acme's Copper Kettle Donuts, which will in true Acme spirit be made from scratch, flash-fried in a kettle on the spot and served hot. Though the new impetus is on donuts, Acme promises to still deliver Pickleberry jams, scones and Poppy seed Bundt cake. Also available – never need you be left empty handed- are advanced orders for pick up at the market on select items. Check out their Facebook for more details.
