New to the area of Sunny Isles is a spot called Preservation, a restaurant with a flair for pickling various things and curing meats. Running the new spot are chef Ryan Harrison and his partner, Nicole Richaud, who, according to Short Order "moved to South Florida from Philadelphia to open a restaurant that focuses on technique developed during the centuries before refrigeration". Other than home-made preserves, the new spot serves up "a few soups, a few salads, and a handful of small plates offering charcuterie", as well as sandwiches and "rotating dinner specials".
