Say hello to South Beach's newest Italian eatery, Fuor D'Acqua, a Florence import that just opened this past Tuesday. Behind the new spot is Miami restaurateur Antonio Martucci and helming the kitchen, executive chef Dani Di Calimero, who previously worked at the Florence location for numerous years. Dish wise, you can expect Italian classics like Lasagna di Scampi ($24), Polipo in Padella (pan-seared octopus in a red pepper sauce, $18) and Paccheri alla Trabaccolara (house-made pasta in a Mediterranean reef fish sauce, $22).
As far as aesthetics go, the 275-seat space designed by Massimo Camoli, features a main dining room with a nautical theme, a garden, an outdoor patio overlooking the garden and an open view of the kitchen. So far, they're starting off with just dinner, which will be available seven nights a week. And in case you like to eat in the middle of the night, Fridays and Saturdays they'll be serving dinner from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
