Tongue & Cheek Gets a Review from Short Order

Emily Codik visits the recently opened Tongue & Cheek and calls chef/owner Jamie DeRosa's cooking "delicious". She describes the "easygoing" South Beach spot as "a mishmash of pristine and playful food", saying that is "exactly what makes this novel venture so much fun". In terms of specific dishes, she raves about the braised lamb belly, "a wonderfully successful plate" that is "so rich that pork lovers won't miss the swine". Another praised dish is the "impressive" roasted branzino. Service wise, Codik says DeRosa's eatery "may be casual – but it is also very considerate".
