'An Evening of Art and Dining'; Dinner at Jimmy'z

DOWNTOWN – The Hidden Kitchen's chef Michael B. Jacobs is hosting an "interactive moving dinner" at Cisneros-Fontanals Art Foundation's (CIFO) art space in downtown Miami to celebrate CIFO's 10 year anniversary and help raise funds. The "Evening of Art and Dining" event will include a tour of the art space, videos from the CIFO collection and "artfully paired dishes" by chef Jacobs. Tickets are $90. [EaterWire]

WYNWOOD – On Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17, Chef Jimmy Carey of Jimmy'z Kitchen will be hosting "Pilón, Caldero y Fogón a creative gastronomic dinner inspired by Puerto Rican cuisine" where four other Puerto Rican chefs will be sharing the kitchen with him. The chefs will be creating a tasting menu that is "based on the agricultural products found on the island". A part of the proceeds from tickets, which cost $65, will benefit the Gastronomic Association of Puerto Rico. [EaterWire]
