Apparently Café Boulud's executive chef, Jim Leiken, has called it quits "after nearly 12 years of working for Daniel Boulud". Leiken tells Clean Plate Charlie, "I've decided to take the rest of the summer off, catch my breath, and enjoy some well-deserved time with my family". No news on who's to replace him yet, though the restaurant has released a statement saying they will be announcing the chef "in the coming weeks". [CPC]
