Recently opened Blocks Pizza Deli seems like it can't go too wrong, at least in the few reviews it's received so far. The Miami Beach pizzeria dishes out Italian-style pizza, served in rectangular slices (referred to as blocks) and made with all fresh ingredients. Here's what people are saying:

Great News: One Yelper says, "no pizza is more authentic than this". She adds, "the crust is the best I had in Miami and the topping ingredients are very fresh and high quality". In addition to this she finds the staff to be "really nice and friendly" and she "will be back for sure". [Yelp]

Good News: One man on Yelp says, "Italian pizza is in a league of its own" and that while he ate at Blocks, he "forgot Italy was 4000 miles away". Finally he states, "this is the real thing, with the freshest ingredients". [Yelp]

Okay News: One Yelper isn't totally impressed. She says she "ordered two pepperoni slices for a little over $10", which she found "over priced". She adds that "the pizza tasted okay" and though "the cheese and pepperoni they used is great quality", "the sauce was bland and the dough was dry". [Yelp]

Good News: Another Yelp reviewer says she tried a Calzone at Blocks and her "friend had a pocket (sandwich)" and adds that "everything was tasty and you can tell they use fresh ingredients". The "best part" for her: "everything on the menu is less that $8". [Yelp]

Fine News: A reviewer proclaims, "probably one of the finest pizzerias I've tried in South Florida". He enjoyed the "awesome staff" and the "freshly made pizzas", which are "reasonably priced". Concluding that "all in all", he was "a happy camper" eating there. [Yelp]
