The Democratic Republic of Beer served its last drinks at its 14th street location this past Saturday. However, Short Order reports they'll be "migrating" to their downtown local at 501 NE 1st street (whew) and plan a grand opening there sometime next month. DRB's new place will be twice as big as the previous ("1600 square feet as opposed to 800") and have "a covered outdoor seating area". [SO]
