Umami Burger gets a visit from Miami Times food critic Emily Codik. Seems that though the burger 'king' of California is obsessed over on the West Coast, the Miami spot didn't bode well with Codik, who says its "bold flavors are too greasy for comfort" and ends her review by stating that the South Beach outpost is "killing us" rather than "killing it". Final thoughts: "Every meal -- a farrago of fat, sloppiness, and cheese -- culminated with regret and a greater risk of developing gout". [SO]
