BurgerFi is moving faster than a pack of paparazzi chasing a million-dollar smile. The Palm Beach-headquartered chain, established in 2009, will soon have some 50 outlets from coast to coast. BurgerFi takes its cue from Manhattan-based Shake Shack with a pared-down menu focusing on juicy double-patty burgers and a collection of rich "concretes," custards layered with decadent mix-ins.Elliot raves about a long list of menu items including "the off-the-charts Breakfast All Day", a "surprisingly tasty veggie burger" and "tantalizing thick shakes". On her list of "What Worked" are also things like the "incredibly on the ball" staff and a "sexy" soda machine "which boasts more than 125 customizable combinations of Coca-Cola products". Over on Clean Plate Charlie, Zachary Fagenson reviews several eateries on Hallandale Beach Boulevard (where "Jewish, European, Latin flavors converge"). Falafel Benny, Nick's Restaurant (a spot that "offers a sinfully satisfying patty melt whose grease covers your fingers when you pick it up to take the first bite") and Sage Bagel & Appetizer Shop ("If it's Jewish food you're seeking") and more are listed. Details on all the spots this way. [CPC]
