Cy Waits Set To Open Adoré in the Boulan Hotel During Art Basel

Cy Waits, who together with his twin bother Jesse, is responsible for helping Vegas' XS and Tryst Nightclubs inside the Wynn and Encore Resort achieve global acclaim, has now decamped with the East Coast. Here he will bring his own brand of hospitality to the SoBe scene as he gets set to open Adoré inside the Boulan Hotel with his partner and fellow Vegas operator Cory McCormack (Body English and Rehab at the Hard Rock Resort and Casino). Waits tells Miami Magazine that we can expect from the 12,000 square foot space and their will be a heavy emphasis on service, major electronic acts and bottle service.

We have learned that Waits and co. have also tapped a number of LIV and Opium Group veteran staffers to insure a smooth opening come December 5. Waits tells Eater that he "wants to insure we respect Miami culture and not assume we already know every about the market. It's important for us to be mindful of Miami denizens and welcome our local guests." As for aesthetics, Amy Kim of LA's AK Design will infuse red and gold elements in the two-story space. The design has taken cues from Waits prior work at XS and promises excellent DJ sight lines from all vantage points. Though Waits says, "It's important that all my guests have the experience possible starting from the moment they arrive at the rope," we are certainly expecting this to be the city's new hard door.
