Kitchen Collab at T&C; SushiSamba's Evening of Samba

MIAMI BEACH – Tongue & Cheek's Jamie DeRosa is "bringing in some friends to make matters extra tasty". Starting Wednesday, September 25, DeRosa will be hosting a trio of monthly guest chef dinners called "Kitchen Collab". This all kicks off with Top Chef alumb Lindsay Autry who's pairing up with DeRosa for a five-course meal you most likely don't want to miss. Tickets are $75 and reservations can be made here.

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS – This Friday and Saturday (Septmeber 6 and 7), SushiSamba Coral Gables and Miami Beach are celebrating Brazil's Independence Day with "an evening of samba and capoeira". Party begins at 9 p.m. each night. Expect Caipirinhas galore and traditional Brazilian dishes like "short rib pasteis", "black bean acaraje" and "banana leaf steamed local fish". [EaterWire]

KEY BISCAYNE – If you like clams, seafood and wine, then the November 23 Clams & Claws Seafood & Wine Festival might be right up your alley. FORT LAUDERDALE – Casa D'Angelo is hosting a fancy schmancy four-course wine-pairing dinner on friday, september 13 at 6:30 p.m. the dinner ($185 per person) includes dishes like "paccheri pasta with roasted veal ragout", "braised beef short ribs with amarone wine?and san marzano tomatoes over cheese polenta", and "homemade lemon cheese sorbet". reservations can be made here.
