SOUTH BEACH – Celebrate Super Bowl Weekend at HaVen South Beach with bites, cocktails and huge LED projection walls. Saturday, February 1, the day before the game, they're throwing their regular Destination Saturday event, this time featuring New York City. And on Sunday, Saturday 2, they're celebrating with food, beer and bottle specials. [EaterWire]

DELRAY BEACH – According to Clean Plate Charlie, Delray Beach is about to get several new restaurants because the city approved the extension of Delray's Atlantic Avenue. What will come out will be called Atlantic Crossing and it will include a "mixed use center" with five or six new eateries. [CPC]

SOUTH BEACH - Lorenzo has just added a whole bunch of new things. First off, they've updated their lunch menu to include offerings like new paninis and seared tuna. They've also rolled out a $25 three-course prix-fixe option. Secondly, the new SoBe hotspot's launched a new aperitivo happy hour, which will take place daily from 4 to 7 p.m. and include selected half-priced antipasti, cocktails, beer and wine. And last, but most certainly not least, when you dine at Lorenzo during lunch or dinner, valet parking will now free, saving you all those "South Beach is a horrible place!" under-your-breath exclamations as you loop around 50 times for a spot.
