New Mediterranean Restaurant, Apiero, Coming to Delray

Burt Rapoport, the West Palm Beach restaurateur responsible for Deck 84, Bogart's Bar & Grille, Burt & Max's, E&J's Sandwich Shop, and Henry's, recently announced that he'll be opening a new eatery at the Delray Marketplace: Apiero. According to Clean Plate Charlie, Rapoport's new venture will be focused on a Mediterranean menu of healthy and clean dishes. The folks at Short Order also got an idea of what the atmosphere of the restaurant will ideally be like and noted the fact that Apiero is going to be built next to one of Rapoport's other restaurants, Burt & Max's, which the restaurant owner simply said was good business sense rather than letting any competitive venues spring up under foot. Construction in proposed to begin in the Spring, around April or May, and Rapoport is planning on having the doors open by October.
