Following its debut at The Redbury Hotel at Hollywood & Vine in 2010, Cleo opened a second location at SLS Las Vegas just last month. The third to follow: Redbury South Beach. The newest outpost of the Danny Elmaleh helmed-eatery will take over the former Lorenzo and will feature menu items distinct to Miami, along with the already established Cleo menu and a collection of dishes prepared in wood-burning oven, served indoors or al fresco. Says the chef:
Having spent so much time in South Beach, I've been playing with the idea of a Miami inspired Cleo menu for a few years. The vibrant collage of cultures and cuisines in Miami is very reflective of everything Cleo stands for and it's brought an exciting energy and flavor to our menu for South Beach.
Other than Miami's unique offerings, the concept here is Mediterranean with a modern twist on ingredients and cultures from the eastern and southern regions. Think shared-plates of fresh meats, seafood and vegetables, as well as salads, homemade Lafa flatbreads, a raw bar and an array of vegetarian items. Additionally, per a press release, Cleo's bar will feature a "hand-crafted cocktail program using fresh juices and ingredients, and carefully selected wines." Once the eatery opens, it'll serve breakfast served 7 a.m. to noon, lunch from noon to 3 p.m. and dinner starting at 6 p.m. daily. Stay tuned for more!
