Tongue & Cheek is Cooking for Thanksgiving; Halloween at Baoli

Burgers, turkey's and Salvador Dali.

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS — Behold, the "Miami Burger Neighborhood Guide" from Thrillist. Looks pretty useful. They've split it up into areas like Brickell, Downtown, Coral Gables and more and included one burger spot for each. Think Blue Collar, Tongue & Cheek, Edge Steak & Bar and more. [Thrillist]

SOUTH BEACH — Better to plan ahead and triple ensure you absolutely do not have to cook anything for Thanksgiving, goes the saying. Or something like that. Well, it's only the end of October, but Tongue & Cheek's already announced they'll be offering a special deal. For $175, they'll prepare a traditional family dinner (turkey, mashed potatoes, salad, pie, the works) that serves six to eight people or, for $225, ten to 12 people. They're also selling individual sides for those who need less help. Thanksgiving orders must be placed by Sunday, November 23, for pick-up Wednesday, November 26 between 10am- 7pm. Call (305) 704-2900 to order. [EaterWire]

SOUTH BEACH — This Halloween, Bâoli is hosting a special edition of their weekly "My Boyfriend is Out of Town" party. Called "Feast of the Imaginarium," the Salvador Dali-inspired event will include body-painted contortionists and stilt performers. According to a press release:"The ‘Feast of Imaginarium' pays homage to Parisian influence and expresses our desire to expand the culture of South Beach through the famous works of Salvador Dalí" said Noah Rubiano, General Manager of Bâoli Miami. "Guests will dive into a surrealist world and lose themselves in question of their own sanity." [EaterWire]
