The Cocktail Collection to Temporarily Close October 25

Cocktail Collection inside Tobacco Road will close its doors along with the historic bar, but will eventually relocate.

After revamping Tobacco Road's upstairs cabaret and turning it into a classy new bar only seven months ago, mixologist Leo Holtzman is being forced to temporarily shutter his latest project, but he doesn't intend to fall by the wayside. Plans are for The Cocktail Collection to eventually be relocated once the team finds a suitable new venue. "We are working on securing a new site and excited to start designing a new space while continuing to grow the Cocktail Collection brand and its offerings," says Holtzman. Until he does find a different space, he'll be offering "beverage and bar consulting services to the hospitality industry, restaurants and spirits companies," per a press release, as well as working toward the launch of a new cocktail catering concept.

In the meantime, the bar will remain open as long as Tobacco Road does, until October 25, with regular hours every Wednesday through Sunday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Now's a good time to take advantage of their "T"HERS"Day" deal when every Thursday ladies drink two-for-one cocktails all night. And definitely an appropriate time to try their new "Wrecking Ball Wednesday," time during which Holtzman's bar will be whipping up a specialty bourbon drink, "paying homage to the impending closing."
