Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's newest offering, Kuro, is set to open its doors in just a couple of months. Described as a "sophisticated, social and interactive" restaurant by reps, Kuro boasts an open dining room, chef's table, sushi bar with a view into the hot kitchen, a pastry section and an outside dining area. Manning the kitchen is executive chef Alex Becker (also the resorts culinary director) , whose previous experience started with Michelin-starred Ristorante Gardenia in Italy, continued with nearly a decade at Nobu and then Katsuya, where Becker held the title of corporate executive chef. The restaurant is slated for a January opening. Stay tuned for official opening dates.
