STK had to shutter its doors temporarily when the space that was once Gansevoort Hotel and Perry Hotel underwent renovations to become 1 Hotel and Homes, but the hip South Beach spot is back in action, almost. Plans are for the steakhouse to officially re-launch on December 12, writes a press release. According to their reps, chef Aaron Taylor "has reimagined classic American cuisine for an innovative and inspired menu," and kept the signature dishes, so classics like the sliders, lobster mac & cheese, foie gras french toast and, of course, the steaks, remain.
