Now Open in South Florida: Lique, Freshii, Apura Juicery, Freddo, and The Daily Melt

Head to these new spots for grilled cheese sandwiches, Mediterranean food, sushi, Argentinian ice cream, and all kinds of healthy food.

WYNWOOD— The first South Florida location of fast-casual Canadian health food chain Freshii is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 2300 NW Second Avenue; website.

NORTH MIAMI BEACH— Lique soft opened last week and plans to celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, December 4. Executive chef Renato Medeiros and sushi chef Wing Wong control the menu, which has Mediterranean-inspired "sharing plates" as well as sushi and raw bar offerings. The 220-seat indoor/outdoor space is open until 1 a.m. on weekdays and 2 a.m. on weekends, with a lounge serving until 4 a.m. The restaurant replaces Rouge Waterfront, and there's a dock for those who choose to arrive by boat. 3957 NE 163rd Street; website.

BOCA RATON— Apura Juicery and Coffee House has opened. Look for cold-pressed juices, cold-brewed coffee, raw vegan fare, and a variety of "mylks" made from nuts. 22191 Powerline Road; website.

SOUTH BEACH— Get Argentinian ice cream, or helado, at newly opened Freddo. The shop opened late last week and serves a variety of helados in flavors offered in dulce de leche, cream, chocolate, sorbet, and light categories. Freddo's open late, scooping from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
