Uncle Tom's BBQ Announces Two More Locations

The popular BBQ outpost opening in Hialeah and Pinecrest

BBQ lovers, it's time to stock up on those wet naps. Uncle Tom's BBQ, the legendary BBQ restaurant in Coral Gables, announced that it has signed leases in both Hialeah and Pinecrest.

The location in Hialeah will be open before the end of the year, per the restaurant's rep, at 2200 Palm Avenue, with the Pinecrest spot opening shortly thereafter at 8345 SW 124 Street.

"The Pinecrest location has been in the works for a while now and the Hialeah outpost was simply an opportunity that presented itself a couple of weeks ago and we just couldn't turn it down," co-owner Ariel Rodriguez tells Eater. "It just needs a few touch ups and we’ll be open before the end of the year."

Each location will serve the same menu as the original location, but with different specials and events to cater to their respective neighborhoods.

As for why he chose the neighborhoods he did, Rodriguez says, "both are geographically ideal as they bookend the original location on opposite sides of the city."

No opening dates have been set yet. Stay tuned for more details. [Eaterwire]
