It's been established, Ralph Pagano's new restaurant in the former Serafina space will be called Naked Taco. And mark your calendars because it has an official opening date: Friday, February 21. The chef chose to take it to the "digital airwaves" and let people help him come up with a name - seems that "Sucio Sueno" and "Paganitos" didn't cut it, which is probably a good thing. In an interview on his upcoming restaurant, Pagano spoke about his passion for Mexico, opening a place where he can create tricked out versions of its street food and keeping the spot fun and affordable.
So, soon, Naked Taco will be opening doors to its suede and leather covered interior, ready to pour some oh, 125 different tequilas, and serve up Mexican food like Pagano describes it, "melty, gooey, cheesy, crunchy."
