Metropolitan Hospitality Group has just announced a new addition to Miami Beach's edible attractions, La Maison Miami, a French/Mediterranean brasserie-style eatery that soft-opened at at 22 Washington Avenue last week. A press release reports that Michelin starred – and who Metropolitan CEO calls "one of the most demanded chefs in France"- Michael Fulci is leading "the exciting, organic gastronomic experience." Fulci is overseeing chef Patrick Kichner to create the restaurant's signature dish, Tiger Tears Maine Lobster, and other chef favorites and "epicurean fare" prepared using locally-sourced ingredients. La Maison will, in classic French style, offer an array of champagne cocktails and French-imported wines, as well as a rotating set of international singers and musicians.

As per atmosphere, La Maison does look homey (albeit maybe in a catalog-home homey way) with simple and elegant decor, chandeliers and lots of white furniture both inside and on their outdoor terrace. They add a little sultry Miami flare to their classic French approach with "tastefully sexy" black and photographs of men and women. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner from noon to 2a.m.. Breakfast, which will be starting at 8 a.m., debuts April 1.
