MIAMI BEACH - An eater tipster informed us that chef Chad Ford made a quick exit and already left recently opened The Downstairs at Hotel Astor. Hotel Astor confirms that this is true. As for the menu, it's remaining the same for now. Currently on board at The Downstairs is chef Carlos Nevarez, who's worked at spots like Hotel Victor, DeVito's and Lolita.
