The Fed's Crawfish Wednesdays; 'Lucky You 7/7/7'

MIAMI - Crawfish season is back, which means The Federal Food Drink & Provisions' Crawfish Wednesdays are also back in action. Beginning tonight, guests can dig into chef/owner Cesar Zapata's crustacean creations (made with crawfish flown in live for each dinner), like saffron scented crawfish fritters and MoMo's NOLA gumbo, from 6 to 10 p.m. every Wednesday. Don't forget unlimited bubbles and beer during their 5 to 7 p.m. happy hour for $15 ($20 for the rest of the service). [EaterWire]

NORTH MIAMI - Florida International's Chaplain School of Hospitality and Tourism Management is opening a "Brew Science Lab" on Thursday, April 3. American brewmaster Garrett Oliver will be there to celebrate with the school and give a walkthrough of the space at 6 p.m., after which guests will dine on a meal prepped and served by the hospitality students. FORT LAUDERDALE - The recently opened Tsukuro is launching a happy hour called "Lucky You 7/7/7" that begins on April 1. The 7/7/7 happy hour menu, which is available Monday through Friday (for seven hours) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., features a monthly rotation of seven drinks and seven small plates all at discounted prices.
