Giorgio Rapicavoli, his Eating House partner Alex Casanova, and former Preservation chef Ryan Herrison are partnering up to open a Spanish tapas and wine bar in MiMo. Triple exclamation marks. Rapicavoli tells Miami.com, "Alex and I have wanted to do Spanish ever since the quick side trip we took to Barcelona after Tierra Madre a few years back," adding they're "stoked about the location and even happier to have Ryan behind the line."
Apparently, the new spot, which will serve up menu items like spicy patatas bravas, cod empanadas and rice puddings, is opening as soon as the end of March. Rapicavoli tells Eater that he also has plans for live music, cava mimosas during brunch (which will launch along with the restaurant) and a mural by Miami street artist and pioneer Trek6, who wil add to the interiors (and who Rapicavoli calls a "really dope graffiti artist").
