Bin No. 18 chef/owner, Alfredo Patino, has just opened up his own restaurant in the up and coming MiMo district. The new spot is called Tap 79 Bar & Grill and will, like the name suggests, serve up "elegant" pub food and, of course, a "robust craft beer selection with 8 beers on draft," according to a press release. An extensive selection of American and Belgian microbrews will also be available as well as a menu ranging from small bites to entrees with options like house-cured beef jerky, mango habanero wings and short ribs served over polenta. Tap 79 is open Monday through Friday from 4 to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.
