Fork & Balls, Draft Wines And Meatballs Aplenty

Tim Petrillo owner of spots like S3, Yolo and Tarpon Bend, and founder of The Restaurant People, is opening up a playfully named new restaurant he's actually calling Fork & Balls. The eatery, a more casual, laid-back meatball-focused spot, is slated to open sometime in June on Las Olas Boulevard. ""This will be the first concept built around the idea of meatballs," Petrillo tells us, "we will offer a variety of meatballs, from beef and chicken, to vegetable, lamb, fish, turkey and more, which our guests can put on an array of fresh vegetables, salads and pastas. They can choose various sandwiches, sliders or just plain with a variety of sauces. We will also be the first in South Florida to have over 20 wines on a draft system, which is pretty unique and we think our guests will enjoy." For now, while Fork & Balls gets ready for its big debut, they're hiring for all positions. Stay tuned for an official opening date and more on TRP's newest offering.
