For all those who could hardly contain their joy at the thought of a restaurant that serves a menu full of various takes on the classic meatball (we know you're out there), you only have to wait ten days, or until June 20, to get your spherical meat fix. Owned by restaurateur Tim Petrillo, executive chef Peter Boulukos and construction development manager Alan Hooper a.k.a. The Restaurant People, Fork & Balls plans to, per a press release, deliver a "signature spin on the traditional meatball in a trendy, casual atmosphere with rustic, old school charm," or at least make you feel very dirty while you order. The menu includes a variety of salads, sliders and sandwiches, but the focus here is on customizable and composed meatballs that guests can enjoy in a slider or sandwich (they've called this option "Balls Between"), put on an array of vegetables, salads and pasta ("Balls On Top") or eat as-is ("Just Balls").

Meatballs, which will be made in-house and created from custom blends, can be paired with a range of sauces, and though they "run the gamut in terms of flavors and styles, Mediterranean and Italian will make up the majority."

Staying unique in the drink department as well, Fork & Balls will be one of the only restaurants in South Florida to offer 20 wines on tap, as well as handcrafted cocktails and a rotating selection of craft beers. Much like TRP's other restaurants, Fork & Balls will feature mix of live music, entertainment and a variety of special events hosted throughout the season.
