Drunken Dragon now has an official opening date: June 17. The restaurant, owned by several of the same folks who are also involved with Foxhole, is an Asian gastropub with Korean barbecue-style tables that will serve up Asian goods until 6 a.m. on weekends and 3 a.m. on weekdays.
Co-owner Jarred Grant tells us, "we really wanted to take that local tavern bar element and fuse it with the Korean barbecue. We're not traditional. Overall it's a lot of influences from all over. There's Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, and it's a family-style menu made for sharing, with modern Asian tapas." As for design (done by a company called Studio Collective), "[t]he walls of the restaurant are decked with heavy ropes and steamy photography of Japanese bondage," writes Miami.com.
