Shikany Launches Degustation Menu; Fire & Ice Happy Hour at 15th & Vine

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS — Oh National Martini Day, what a wonderful excuse to drink way more drinks than anyone really should. Another good excuse is when those martinis are priced at $5, in which case who's going to judge when you have four in a row? Brio Tuscan Grille isn't judging at all, and that's why on June 19, they're offering ten of their specialty martinis for $5 each. Don't worry, there are bar plates ($4-$6) to go with those boozy wonders. [EaterWire]

WYNWOOD — This Friday, the recently opened Shikany, chef Michael Shikany's namesake eatery and cooking school, is launching a 10-course degustation menu. Offered every Friday, the dinner —priced at $125 and $180 with wine or spirits pairings — will begin at 7:30 p.m. Guests, who will be seated at Shikany's 24-seat communal table, should expect off-the-menu dishes like "Toro Tartare" with pickled ramps, strawberry preserve gelee, sake kaffir gel, yuzu glass and mimo chive; and caramelized foie gras with black sesame sponge and cherry tomato gelee. BRICKELL — 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar at Viceroy Miami is launching a new "Fire & Ice" happy hour. The happy hour will now take place Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., and will include 50% off cheese and charcuterie and $5 speciality cocktails and wines. The happy hour kicks off this Thursday with two complimentary drinks for guests, fire dancers and an ice sculpture serving Leblon cachaca. [EaterWire]
