Benchwarmers Has Opened; Cesar Morales' Next Move

Benchwarmers, the latest offering from Wood Tavern owner Cesar Morales, is officially open. The beer and fry mecca/laid-back hangout began serving this weekend in time for the World Cup after announcing its opening a few weeks ago. But just because Morales just opened up his new spot in Midtown two days ago doesn't mean he doesn't have even more up his sleeve for the future. The restaurateur tells us he's already looking into renting the space next door to Benchwarmers and adding a pool table, as well as some video games. More on that as we hear it.
