Those who missed Kris Wessel's dishes when he parted ways with Florida Cookery were surely stoked to find out the chef was opening his own spot, Oolite Restaurant and Bar, in the ex-Cooper Avenue space. Now, Wessel fans, who've probably already been hanging around the bar (this part of the restaurant opened up in time for the World Cup), can rejoice at the news that the restaurant will start serving dinner this Thursday, June 19. Mark your calendars and get ready for some Wessel cooking. Think verbena steamed grouper with pea shoots and almonds, trendy kale chips & lemon yogurt air and Florida orange allspice-leaf rotisserie duck.
