Cantina La Veinte, Fine Dining Mexican Restaurant Opening Next Week

Located in the neighborhood that seems to spring up a new restaurant daily, comes another spot to add to the growing roster — Cantina La Veinte, opening next Monday, July 28, in the Icon Brickell. The waterfront located, fine-dining Mexican restaurant is the first American outpost for Mexican hospitality group Cinbersol Group, which has 30 different concepts all through Mexico.

So what can you expect to see on the menu? Expect high-end, classic Mexican fare such as Chiles Rellenos, Tortas and Bacalao a la Vizcaina, created by Mexico City import Executive Chef Santiago Gomez, along with lots and lots of booze. In fact, Cantina promises to have one of the largest selections of tequilas and mezcals in the United States.

Adjacent to the massive, 220-foot art deco styled Cantina La Veinte will be Mercado an outdoor dining area, which will offer wines, cheeses, a coffee and juice bar and a deli with made-to-order sandwiches.
