St. Louis' Pi Pizzeria Brings Eco-Friendly Pies to Miami

Photo via Facebook

Beloved St. Louis pizza chain Pi Pizzeria is coming to Miami. St. Louis magazine writes that owners Chris Sommers and Frank Uible, the duo who opened the first outpost six years ago, are dubbing the Miami location Pi'ami and plan to open it sometime before winter. As for the pies, Miami.com says "both thin-crust and deep-dish — are based on a recipe Sommers picked up while living in San Francisco," noting that gluten-free and vegan options are also available at the eco-conscious restaurant. Pi'ami will have a U-shaped bar and dining area boasting 150 seats, per St. Louis magazine, as well as a 50 seat patio, all designed by Tom Niemeier and SPACE Architecture + Design in the spirit of "a modern classic pizzeria".
