Chef Ryan Harrison Out at Taperia Raca

Ex-Preservation chef Ryan Harrison is no longer with Giorgio Rapicavoli's Taperia Raca. Chef/owner Rapicavoli tells us, "I wouldn't exactly say he left, more like we left him," but doesn't offer much more on what actually happened. Harrison tells Miami.com that he's planning to do something on his own now. As for how Rapicavoli will manage both Taperia Raca in MiMo and his Coral Gables restaurant, Eating House, the chef says, "Luckily, having such a strong chef like Adriana [Egozcue] at Eating House allows me to focus a lot of time at Raca now," adding that "things are only going to get better. We are improving and learning every day."
