The Redbury Hotel's Lorenzo is closing September 1, reports Miami.com. The restaurant, which opened less than a year ago, seems to have been struggling, even after undergoing a change of hands a few months back and bringing in ex-Scarpetta (in New York) chef Chris Wyman. James Beard award-winning Tony Mantuano (chef/partner at the restaurant) once told Eater the menu is a combination of favorites from his Chicago restaurants, and considering how popular those are, it's too bad it Lorenzo didn't cut it in Miami.
Next up for the space: a restaurant called Cleo, "a Mediterranean-style restaurant that has an outpost at the Redbury's Los Angeles hotel."
