Upper East Side's historic Vagabond Hotel (whose signage reads Vagabond Motel) is now fully restored and will soon be home to the Vagabond Restaurant, reports Short Order. Restaurateur Alvarado Perez tells the blog that the new eatery, manned by chef Alex Chang (owner of Paladar), will feature "an American-based menu with Latin, Asian, and European influence." The hotel celebrates its opening tonight and the restaurant should open this October.
