Brickell's buzy Epic Hotel is already home to uber-hotspots like Zuma and Area 31, but the hotel is upping their game even more with the launch of a new lounge called LILT. Epic's newest addition, which is set to open its doors tomorrow, August 26, will partner with The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) to showcase musical acts and solo performances. YoungArts' alumni will perform weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the Mark Small Quartet will take the stage Friday nights, and Jazz compilations with additional local and touring musicians will take place Saturday nights beginning with Downtown Jazz.
And of course the fun wouldn't be complete without boozy libations and snacks aplenty, so they've got a cocktail menu and a social bites menu to satisfy those needs. Think historically dubbed drinks like "Death in the Afternoon" and "1919 Firenze," as well as offerings like classic champagne cocktails from a champagne cart designed exclusively for LILT. As for the bites, executive chef Wolfgang Birk will be offering items like charcuterie, cheese, oysters, lobster cocktails and lamb tartare.
