There's a new gastropub called The Seven Dials in Coral Gables (located in the former Unemployed Chef space), and it's now open. Their website states, "Our menu is influenced by modern American cooking with a British twist, courtesy of London-born chef/owner Andrew Gilbert, and is designed to be shared, made up of smaller, composed dishes as well as specials that follow market availability and seasonality." Short Order writes that the small pub's menu, offered in a quaint 50 seat space, features straightforward items created by Gilbert (whose previous stints include Sra. Martinez and Michy's) and chef de cuisine Hugo Perez (Local Food & Drink's ex sous chef). The menu also features an rotating variety of charcuterie, as well as items from Zak the Baker and Proper Sausages. As for drinks, expect wines and beers (including Wynwood Brewing).
