Tap 42's Tap Takeover for ASL; Beer Dinner at The Fed

FORT LAUDERDALE — Cigar City Brewing, Funky Buddha Brewery, and Tap 42 will be hosting "South Florida's largest tap takeover, benefiting ALS research," reports Clean Plate Charlie. SOUTH BEACH — HaVen is teaming up with Miami Herald food and drink editor Evan Benn to host a craft beer dinner. Four dishes from chef Todd Erickson will be paired with four American-made craft brews chosen by Benn. Tickets are $60 per person and reservations can by made by sending an email here. [EaterWire]

UPPER EAST SIDE — The Federal's chef/owner Cesar Zapata and GM/owner Ani Meinhold are kicking-off their annual Oktoberfest event with a five-course beer pairing dinner, co-hosted by local beer aficionados Patrick Lunn and Diego Ganoza, on Thursday, September 18. Right before dinner, soon-to-debut Concrete Beach Brewery will pour two of their local brews for their first-ever public preview from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person.
