Surprise, More Drama at Seasalt & Pepper

Chef Alfredo Alvarez walks out, taking several other employees with him.

Lawsuit-happy Seasalt & Pepper is at it again with the not-so-good news. Right after yesterday's announcement that Seasalt had settled one lawsuit, seemingly sailing into slightly more promising waters with ownership remaining in the hands of co-owner Carlos Miranda, it's now been reported that their chef, Alfredo Alvarez, has walked out. His sous chefs and pastry chefs went right along with him, reports Short Order. Apparently, "Seasalt and Pepper has been running their Kitchen with no experienced chef since last week." We've reached out for further comment to see who's stepping in next, but nothing yet. Got a tip? This glorious anonymous gossip box is waiting for it.
