Having previously held positions at both The Freehand's Broken Shaker and Giorgio Rapicavoli's Eating House, Steve Santana is ready to branch out on his own, per Short Order. In the next month, he'll be opening up a Mexican restaurant called Taquiza, which will offer "traditional Mexican fare" and a whole lot of corn tortillas. The restaurant, from which guests are encouraged to pick up their order and head out or enjoy their meal on the patio, is located at the Hotel Eva at 1506 Collins Ave. Check back for official opening dates and more.
