Cavalli Lounge is Temporarily Closed For Renovations

Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli's namesake lounge is getting a spunky makeover.

All's well in the world of leopard print chairs and flowery tables at the restaurant part of Cavalli Restaurant and Lounge, but the lounge portion apparently needs a little makeover. A press release reports that while fashion mogul Roberto Cavalli's restaurant remains open for business as usual (Monday to Sunday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.), his lounge has closed its doors with plans to re-open sometime between October 20 and 24.

The sexy new lounge perched on the second floor of the villa above the restaurant will embody a stronger image of Mr. Cavalli's soul and spunk ... Additionally, the lounge will also be open for patrons who wish to dine in a less formal setting. The balcony is to become a private dining room that seats up to 20 people and will feature request security services dedicated exclusively to the table.

As for the weekly parties and lineup of music and entertainment, those will resume once the lounge re-opens.
